Tata Motors has been renaming its various models lately and the Sumo Grande is one of them. The Pimpri-based manufacturer had dropped the word Indigo from the second-generation Indigo Manza and lately the same goes for the Indica Vista.
The first-generation Sumo was launched in the early 1990s and the Sumo Grande was the second-generation Sumo. Tata has been changed the name of the Sumo Grande to just Grande.
