- Will follow the Sierra EV
- Could get AWD configuration
Tata Motors showcased the Sierra EV concept back at the 2023 Auto Expo, following which crucial details are being slowly drip-fed every now and then. While the EV version is confirmed to arrive next year, we have now got our hands on the launch timeline of the ICE derivatives.
As per official details, the Sierra ICE will be launched shortly after the EV version in the second half of 2025. This trend will be based on the brand’s EV-first ideology which began with the Curvv siblings earlier this year. We expect the 2.0-litre diesel motor to be available in the Harrier and Safari to be carried over, while an all-new 1.5-litre T-GDi turbo-petrol motor is also likely to be on offer. Additionally, all three powertrains could get an AWD setup.
In December last year, patent images of the new production-spec Tata Sierra made their way to the web, and the SUV was largely identical to the concept car showcased in the past. Tata Motors continues to remain tight-lipped about the technical specifications of the Sierra EV, hence details are unknown at the moment. In other news, the Harrier EV is confirmed for a launch early next year, details of which are live on our website.
