Tata is going all out in building anticipation as we get near to the official unveiling and drive of the all-new Harrier. Having revealed the exterior look and a series of teasers of the interior, the company has released yet another teaser of the interior bits that will make it to the production car.
We have already seen the basic silhouette of the dashboard and thanks to these new teaser images, we can confirm that the Harrier will feature some nice interior touches for that luxurious ambience. For starters, there will be plenty of faux aluminium treatment, namely to the centre console and the side air vents. What’s even more impressive is that the chunky door handles, in all probability, would feature soft-touch leather finish in a rich-looking brown shade. Lastly, the Harrier will get a JBL-developed music system, just like the Hexa MPV.
Earlier dubbed H5X, the Harrier is one of the most awaited cars in recent times. Underpinned by the new Omega platform derived from JLR, the styling is based on the IMPACT 2.0 design philosophy. The masculine stance of the Harrier will be combined with a feature-rich cabin. Under the hood there will be a 2-litre diesel engine. When it arrives in early 2019, we expect prices to be in the range of Rs 16 lakhs and Rs 20 lakhs. At these prices, it will compete with the likes of Jeep Compass and some D-segment sedans.
