-New premium hatchback
-Avian inspired name and based on the Seagull
-Will be launched in India this year
Tata has released a final teaser for the Altroz hatchback ahead of its debut at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. This final teaser showcases the front-end design of the car and from this, we can see that the vehicle will have a design similar to that of the Tiago and Tigor models. The previous teaser showcased the tail lamp design of the Altroz and here too, we can see elements of the family design in the teaser image.
The Altroz, with its avian inspired name, is a new premium hatchback and is the 45X concept car in production guise. It will arrive in India later this year and will be Tata’s rival to the likes of the Maruti Baleno, Honda jazz, Volkswagen Polo and the Hyundai Elite i20. It is expected to be offered in both petrol and diesel guises and there are even rumours that this car will debut a mild-hybrid system for the petrol variants.
