Looking to build on the success of the Nano’s Facebook page where it currently has over 1.6 million fans, Tata motors has chugged its smallest car onto ebay with the ‘Nano merchandise online store’. The company aims to cash in on ebay’s popularity in the metros, tier 1 and tier 2 cities to promote the Nano.
At the store one can purchase key chains, apparel, computer accessories and watches all customized with the signature Nano shape and styling. In a statement, the company has said that it will conduct online polls from time to time to keep refreshing the merchandise available. This is the first time that an Indian car maker has set up a merchandise store online.
