After proving its mettle in the GNCAP crash tests, the Tata Nexon has achieved a similar feat at the home-grown BNCAP crash tests. The facelifted Nexon was put under the Bharat NCAP tests alongside the Curvv and the Curvv EV, and all three SUVs have excelled in the tests with five stars.
The variant in question was Fearless, however, as per the regulations, the ratings are applicable for all the variants of the Nexon. The popular SUV scored 29.41 out of 32 for adult occupant protection. Meanwhile, the child occupant protection rating stood at an impressive 43.83 out of 49.
The overall result showed that the Nexon performed fairly well by receiving mostly ‘Adequate’ and ‘Good’ ratings for all the individual tests and criteria.
