Tata Nexon Photo Gallery

It was only some time ago that Tata Motors revealed some information about their upcoming Nexon using model images. And now, here we are at the Nexon’s media drive, to get up close with the new vehicle. Specifications and technical details will be available soon. Our first drive reports will also be up within a couple of days. Meanwhile, check out this picture gallery of the compact SUV.

In terms of physical appearance, the Tata Nexon sticks to the carmaker’s Impact design language. This was seen in the brand's recent products like the Tiago, Tigor and the Hexa.

The car gets a honeycomb mesh grille up front with a dash of chrome, projectors headlamps with DRLs and fog lamps integrated into the bumper.

Apart from this blue colour, there will be many more colour options. All of these will feature these dual tone touches on the outside.

The vehicle sports LED tail lamps at the back and the dual tone (blue and white) treatment is seen here as well.

The interior boasts of a floating 6.5-inch high definition touchscreen. This comes paired with an eight-speaker audio setup sourced by Harman. 

The console of this system comes with native support for Android Auto along with CarPlay. However, the latter will come at a later stage.

Then, another highlight in the central console includes a new sliding tambour door mechanism to allow easy storage.

Here you can also see a Multi Drive Mode selector knob to allow a driver to toggle between Eco, City and Sport driving modes. 

The company revealed that the SUV will come in two engine options - a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel variant. Transmission duty is done by a six-speed manual gearbox.
