Tata Motors transformed its portfolio with the launch of the Nexon in 2017. With the sub-four metre SUV, the home-grown automaker has completely revamped its design identity and now offers models such as the Punch, Harrier, Safari, and the newly launched Curvv. These models feature a design that has evolved from the Nexon.
Further adding to its strengths, the Nexon has become the only model in the country to offer the most powertrain options. Previously available in petrol, diesel, and EV guise, the Nexon now has four powertrains to choose from with the recent introduction of CNG.
While the petrol Nexon is the most accessible with a starting price of Rs. 8 lakh, the CNG range starts at an asking price of Rs. 9 lakh. Meanwhile, the diesel version of the popular SUV costs Rs. 10 lakh for the base variant. On the other hand, the Nexon EV, which received a significant update last year with the facelift is available to own with an entry price of Rs. 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

Recently, the brand announced a 7 lakh unit sales milestone for the Nexon SUV in the country. Furthermore, the Nexon boasts a full five-star safety rating in the GNCAP crash tests, making it one of the safest compact SUVs in its class.
