- The manual sunroof is available on all variants at Rs 16,053.
- The accessories are available separately from the Style Kits.
- The Nexon can be configured on the carmaker’s official website.
Tata has started offering the sunroof as an additional accessory on the Nexon. The sunroof and many other accessories can be opted instead of the optional Style Kit which the carmaker offers on the compact crossover. The sunroof is priced Rs 16,053, and can be added to any of the 12 variants of the Nexon.
The other exterior accessories include garnishes on the front grille, headlamp/tail lamp, fog lamp, rub rail, rear bumper apart from chrome finished door handles and ‘skullcap’ chrome on ORVM. The front logo can also be illuminated. Tata is also offering DRL with fog lamps as an accessory along with side step, mud flaps and front cornering sensor. On the inside, the accessories list includes puddle lamp, ambient lighting, illuminated scuff plates, floor mats and leather wrapped seats. Pricing for each accessory can be seen on the official website.
The only other vehicle in the compact crossover segment which offers a sunroof is the Honda WR-V. However, the Japanese crossover offers it only in the top-of-the-line VX trim. Therefore Tata’s move to offer the Nexon with a sunroof won’t go unnoticed by the car buyers in the country.
The Nexon is available with either a 1.2-litre petrol or a 1.5-litre diesel powerplant across 12 trims. The AMT model was recently launched but is available only in the top-spec XZA+ guise. The Nexon undercuts its competitors by a fair margin. The compact crossover crossed a production milestone of 25000 units in February and has received an overwhelming response in the country since its launch in September last year.
