The TataNexon EV has been crash-tested by Bharat NCAP and scored a safety rating of five stars. It’s the fourth model after the Harrier, Safari, and Punch EV to undergo the homegrown crash test.
Under the adult occupant crash test, the Nexon EV scored 29.86 out of the possible 32 points. The electric SUV is equipped with six airbags, a seatbelt reminder for all seats, and a pre-tensioner along with a load-limiter for front seats.
As for the child occupant test, it scored 44.95 points. The Nexon is fitted with child seat anchorages for the rear seats and a manual airbag cut-off switch for the front passenger. It also gets an electronic stability control as standard across all models.
