Tata Motors recently launched the Red Dark Edition of the Nexon EV alongside the CNG version of the Nexon. This new iteration of the EV is based on the Empowered Plus variant and is priced at Rs. 17.19 lakh (ex-showroom). Now, post its launch, the model has started reaching showrooms across the country.
The new Nexon EV Red Dark Edition, as the name suggests, gets an all-black treatment with red accents inside out. On the outside, the EV comes finished in a Carbon Black paint scheme with blacked-out elements such as the roof rails, 16-inch alloy wheels, lower grille, and ORVMs. Furthermore, to signify its version, the Red Dark Edition of the Nexon EV gets a #Dark badging on the front fenders.
Inside, the two-tone theme has been carried over with an all-black dashboard layout and red-coloured seats. The front headrests also get a #Dark motives to go with the overall theme. Furthermore, besides the standard features, the Nexon EV Red Dark gets a panoramic sunroof and a frunk.
Powering the Red Dark Edition of the Nexon EV is a 45kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 489km on a single charge. In this state of tune, the EV is rated to produce 143bhp and 215Nm of peak torque.
