The Tata Nexon EV is expected to debut next month followed by its launch that could take place in early 2020. Ahead of its debut, Tata Motors has revealed the charging specifications for the Nexon EV.
Charging options on the Nexon EV will include fast charging and slow charging. The model can be charged with any 15A 220V regular socket. Powering the Nexon EV a battery from the Ziptron EV technology range that is claimed to offer a range of 300kms in a single charge. There will be no battery swapping option for the model.
The upcoming Tata Nexon EV will also feature a battery pack with eight year warranty and connected car technology, details of which are available here. A promotional video of the Nexon EV shared on the web reveals the digital-analogue instrument cluster similar to the unit seen on the Altroz. The model is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 15-17 lakhs (ex-showroom) and will be sold via select Tata Motors dealerships.
