Tata Motors launched the Nexon CNG earlier this month, with prices starting at Rs. 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This is the country’s first turbocharged petrol-CNG combination to be offered, and it is the second car after the XUV 3XO in the segment to get a panoramic sunroof.
This new offering makes the Nexon the only model in the country to be offered with such a wide choice of powertrains, including petrol, diesel, electric, and now CNG. Powering this iteration is a 1.2-litre, turbo-petrol engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission. In CNG mode, the output stands at 99bhp and 170Nm.
