Edit: Tata Nano Twist with power steering launched for Rs 2.36 lakh
Tata Motors will be launching the new Nano Twist tomorrow. The main highlight of this new variant is the power steering designed by ZF. The Twist is expected to cost Rs 15,000 more than the top-end variant of the outgoing Nano.
The Tata Nano, despite being fun to drive around in the city, always made the driver feel that a little effort needs to be put in to maneuvere the car. A power steering could solve the issue and that’s what Tata seems to have done with this introduction. Not many changes have been made to the car from outside apart from the addition of a new purple colour and ‘Twist’ badging at the rear. There are small amendments to the design of the instrument cluster of the car as well. It features an LED fuel and temperature guage. The interface for the power steering system, the digital trip meter and the clock have been repositioned.
The Tata Nano has been constantly evolving, since its launch five years ago. The company has improved the engine, the handling, braking and introduced new features in the car ever since its introduction. Last year it received a facelift. With the addition of the power steering, the car should be even more fun to drive. Stay tuned to CarWale as we bring you all the updates from the launch of the Tata Nano tomorrow.
