The Tata Nano Twist Active has spotted ahead of it being shipped to dealers. We already know that the car’s production began a while ago and these pictures mean the launch is also not too far away. This is expected to be the most comprehensive update for Tata’s budget offering since it was launched in 2008.
The Tata Nano Twist Active gets an updated fascia, rear bumper and more importantly a rear hatch that is openable. The overall design of the interior is not expected to change but will get some new bits of trim and most probably some additions to the feature list too.
However, the most major change or rather update is that this Nano will be offered with an AMT or in Tata’s nomenclature F-Tronic gearbox. The engine will still be the 624cc two-cylinder motor that produces 37bhp and 51Nm of torque. The manual option is a four-speed unit.
We expect a minimal rise in price as any major change will affect the sales figures of this entry level offering.
