Remember our Gulf Endurance Run? The CarWale Editorial team had driven the Tata Nano for 7000kms through all the major Indian cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Visakhapatnam etc. in 14 days.
Tata is now doing a SuperNano drive across the country with nine Tata Nanos on three different routes on an enchanting 26 day long voyage, visiting 36 cities, covering a total distance of 15,000 Kilometers! Each route has been christened after our tri-coloured national flag namely ‘The Saffron Route’, ‘The White Route’ and ‘The Green Route’ keeping with the theme of the country-wide drive. Prospective customers, who participated in an online contest, have been given an opportunity to drive on select routes.
CarWale was also invited to be a part of this drive, from Mumbai to Lonavla. The flag off happened at Concorde Motors, Prabhadevi and it went on till Lonavla. The convoy had three Nano cars, and we drove at a maximum speed of 60kph. We definitely missed our Xenos sub-woofer and our sun film. All-in-all it was a fun drive in the Nano. We definitely miss our Gulf livery Nano.
