There was news making the rounds that the Tata Nano would now be readily available at the showroom. The news has been floating in the market for some time now and we confirmed it from Tata Motors.Â
It has been confirmed that Tata Motors has made no such announcement. Infact the Nano is not yet readily available on the shelf. The company will make appropriate announcements in due course of time. At present, the company is engaged in delivering cars to the first 100,000 allottees.
People surely would have to wait some more for their 'precious possession'. The other question that does arise in our minds is, with the rise in inflation would the Nano cross the 1 lakh pricing scale and so to say get expensive? Only time will tell.
