Tata Motors has unveiled a facelifted version of the Nano along with a CNG version. The car, dubbed the Nano emax will be launched in September and is expected to be priced about Rs 30,000 over the equivalent petrol-fuelled variant.
The Tata Nano CNG houses an inline 2-cylinder 624cc engine developing 38PS power at 5250rpm and 51Nm torque at 4000rpm on petrol. When running on CNG, the engine develops 33PS power at 5500rpm and 45Nm torque at 3500rpm. The Nano CNG will compete with the Alto CNG, Eon LPG and Spark LPG in the entry level hatchback segment.
The new Tata Nano has refreshed interiors, chrome garnished exteriors and will be available with more paint options. The Nano will also be offered with a new range of features including remote locking, twin glove boxes and an integrated infotainment system with Bluetooth, USB and AUX connectivity, making it a complete package. Tata will also offer Personalisation Kits along with the car for buyers who would want to have a unique Nano.
