Tata has launched the Movus SUV for the car market in Nepal. It has been priced at 3.18 million NPR (Rs 19.79 lakh) and is available in two variants with the option of a single diesel engine. It is basically a rebadged version of the Sumo Grande and was launched for the Indian market in May of this year.
The Tata Movus shares the same overall design with the Sumo Grande and gets the 2.2-litre VARICOR diesel mill which produces 118bhp and 250Nm torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox. The Movus is available with a host of flexible seating options with captain seats; front facing and side-facing seven, eight and nine-seater configurations respectively.
The Movus will be sold thorough Tata’s exclusive dealer in Nepal Sipradi Motors.
