Tata Motors announced today that they will demonstrate the future of mobility at their stall at the 2018 Auto Expo. The Mumbai-based carmaker is calling it ‘Smart Mobility, Smart Cities’.
In line with the government’s initiative to build smarter cities, Tata Motors will try and integrate the mobility solution across commercial and passenger vehicles. There will be no less than 26 smart mobility solutions on display in a specially curated theme across the pavilion. The stage will also premiere impending passenger and commercial vehicles based on their new Impact 2.0 design language. The carmaker is also looking to redefine the commercial vehicle segment with its new design and quality.
With its wide product portfolio ranging from personal cars to BRTS, emergency response vehicles to commercial utility vehicles, and green and sustainable solutions to driver’s cars, the carmaker believes that they are in a position to play a complementary role in the smart cities of the future.
The stall will be designed and executed by Showtime Events and Meroform in conjunction with Tata Motors Design. It would include various interactive zones like residential zone, sports zone, smart energy zone, and inter and intracity zone. The digital engagements in these zones around the product exhibition aim to provide the customers with an engaging experience. The year 2018 also marks the 150th year of Tata Group’s presence in the country. The Auto Expo will also celebrate the company’s seven decades of contribution to the industry while also welcoming the new future mobility solutions.
We expect Tata to showcase some radical concepts of their upcoming cars. These new cars are a part of Tata’s modernisation plans which will best the recent successful products like the Tiago and the Nexon. As a part of this future mobility, the carmaker will also roll out Tigor EV at the Delhi Expo.
