Tata Motors sells 15, 209 units in January

Tata Motors has sold 15, 209 units of passenger cars in the month of January. Sales of the Nano/ Indica/ Indigo range in January 2013 were 11,192 units. The Sumo/ Safari/ Aria/ Venture range sales were 4,017 units. 

In terms of cumulative sales, passenger vehicles stood at 199,186 units. Cumulative sales of the Nano/ Indica/ Indigo range were at 158,020 units. Cumulative sales of the Sumo/Safari/ Aria/ Venture range stood at 41,166 units. The company's sales from exports were 3,880 vehicles in January 2013. Cumulative sales from exports for the fiscal were 43,283 nos.

During the month, Tata also launched its premium hatchback, the Vista D90, an advanced & dynamic car, powered by a specially tuned 90bhp Quadrajet diesel engine and all new interiors. It joins the recently introduced Tata Manza Club Class and Tata Safari Storme as Tata’s new offerings for 2013. Tata Motors also introduced two state-of-the-art new-look company-owned showrooms in Mumbai (Prabhadevi) and New Delhi (South Extension) during the month.
