Tata Motors has been on the growth path since the introduction of its new-age portfolio that started with the Tiago. With 18,213 units sold in June 2018, sales have grown by a massive 63 per cent in comparison to the numbers of June 2017 when Tata Motors sold only 11,716 units.
For the period of April to June, passenger vehicle sales increased by over 50 per cent with the company selling 52,937 units in 2018 as compared to the 34,858 units in 2017. The primary contributor to the sales numbers has been Tata Tiago, which has also been the star performer for Tata over the past two years. The Nexon has also gained traction, especially the AMT version, which has generated quite a bit of interest.
The Tigor and the Hexa have been regular contributors to the numbers and Tata must be rearing to introduce the H5X and the 45X cars in the premium range to add to the numbers tally.
