Tata Motors announced the launch of Xenon XT (Cross Terrain), a 4 door, 5 seater pickup truck priced at Rs 7.62 lakh for the 4x2 version and Rs 8.58 lakh for the 4x4 version (ex showroom, Delhi).
The Xenon’s interiors are charcoal grey and can accommodate 5 in two rows. The vehicle offers comfort and convenience features like power steering, power windows, central locking, HVAC and electrically adjustable ORVMs. Â
The Xenon XT is powered by the widely accepted 2.2 VTT DICOR diesel engine with a peak power of 138bhp and a peak torque of 320Nm. It has four-wheel drive and a limited slip differential that is similar to the Safari. It has a ladder frame structure and alloy wheels. The load bed is 1518mm long and 1414mm wide, which lends itself to carrying equipment or having fun.Â
The Xenon XT comes in 4 shades – White, Black, Silver and Mineral Red. The vehicle carries a warranty of 2 years or 75000km (whichever is earlier).
