Tata Motors today launched its ‘muscle’ cross-over the Tata Aria not only in India but worldwide. After the Tata Safari, this is Tata Motors latest addition in its venture to capture the market in India. The much awaited Aria boasts of a 2.2 L DiCOR engine which did duty on the Tata Safari and we know that this is a much refined version. The Aria will boast of the latest technology right from an in-dash GPS system to having six airbags for the driver and the passengers safety.
The luxurious Aria has enough space for seven people and also boasts of flexible seating. The 4x4 also gets Darkness Sensing Auto Headlamps and auto wipers as well. The Climate Control system and the abundant storage space makes the Aria a luxurious cross-over. The Aria will be a standard 4x4 and will be available in three variants, Pleasure, Prestige and Pride; Pride ofcourse being the top-of-the-line variant offered. The three variants get different interiors. The Pleasure 4x4 gets black and beige interiors, while the Prestige gets Black and Plum with the option of black and beige or black and black. The Pride on the other hand boasts of a black and black or black and plum option. Loaded with ABS and EBD, the 4x4 also comes equipped with six airbags (driver, front passenger, side and curtain airbags).
The Aria will be available with eight colour options namely Castele Gray, Arctic Silver, Walnut Gold, Sardina Red, Quartz Black, Pearl White, Surf Blue and Night shade Black. Coming to the pricing of the Aria, the Pleasure 4x4 will cost 13.18 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai ), while the Prestige with fabric upholstery will cost around 14.44 lakh and that with leather upholstery will cost 14.82 lakh both ex-showroom Mumbai. Finally the top-of the-line Pride will cost 15.85 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). Stay tuned for the know-all review in a few hours!
