Tata Motors has opened its first showroom in Bangladesh with its long-time partner NITOL Motors. The showroom, located in Dhaka, will display the Indigo Manza, Indigo eCS and the Indica Vista. Tata plans to open three more showrooms across Bangladesh by the end of next year.
Commenting on the introduction of Tata vehicles in Bangladesh, Karl Slym, managing director, said, “We are happy and honoured to enter Bangladesh with our passenger cars. Our 40-year association with Bangladesh has given us an insight into the aspiration of the country’s motorists. They will be central to our business – we will delight them with the performance of our cars and the comfort and excellence of our service, and establish ourselves as we have in commercial vehicles since 1972.”
The trio from Tata are likely to achieve success due to the fact that it is currently holds a 70 per cent share in the commercial vehicles market of Bangladesh.
