Tata may launch a 90bhp diesel version of the Vista. The hatchback will be powered by the same 1.3-litre Quadrajet diesel engine that sits in the Indigo Manza and the Fiat Punto Sport. This mill produces 90bhp, 200Nm of torque and is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.
According to a report from Autocar, the new Vista will get interiors and features similar to that of the Manza sedan. It is likely to be made available in two trims VX and ZX. The former will ABS, EBD, power windows, central locking while the ZX will get the additional alloy wheels and dual airbags. All models will get a black contrast colour roof and tweaked suspension setting to improve handling.
Reports suggest the VX variant will be priced at Rs 6.03 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai) while the ZX will cost Rs 6.63 lakh. However, the company has not issued any official information on the vehicle so far.
