Tata has launched the Tigor AMT without any fanfare in two variants. The XTA 1.2 Petrol is priced at Rs. 5.75 lakh ex-Delhi while the top of the line XZA 1.2 petrol is priced at Rs. 6.22 lakh ex-Delhi.
The AMT transmission will be available only with the petrol engine which puts out 85bhp and 114Nm of torque. The XTA variant is pretty loaded with features like the ConnectNext Infotainment system by Harman with four speakers, steering mounted controls and ABS with EBD.Â
Over XTA, the XZA comes with four speaker with tweeters, alloy wheels, driver and co-passenger airbags, rear defogger and then some.
The Tigor goes up against competition like the Honda Amaze automatic, Ford Figo AT and the Maruti Suzuki Dzire AMT. The Tigor’s AMT variants should definitely increase its appeal and help numbers as well. Watch out for a review soon!
