Tata has launched the Indica Vista D90 for Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) at a function held at the Buddh International Circuit. The Vista D90 is powered by a VGT 1.3-litre diesel engine which produces 90bhp and 200Nm of torque and is the same mill that powers the Manza Club Class and the Fiat Punto Sport.
Changes to the outside include a revised design of the front bumper and rear bumper, a black colour roof similar to the one found on the Manza Club Class, revised design for the alloy wheels as well as custom rear spoiler to add to the D90’s hot hatch image.
Inside, the instrument cluster has been moved back to behind the steering wheel and the car has got most of its interior kit from the Manza Club Class like the GPS enabled touch screen system (ZX only), automatic climate control (ZX only), driver information system and a rear charging point.
On the safety front the D90 gets ABS, EBD and dual airbags. The Vista D90 is being offered in five different colours; Porcelain white, Spice Red, cavern Grey, Jet Silver and a new shade called Ultra Violet.
