Tata Motors has launched the Indigo Manza sedan in South Africa. The petrol version of the sedan with 1.4-litre 90bhp Safire engine is offered in the right-hand-drive market of South Africa. With the import duties in the African country, the Manza variants will cost around Rs 7.91 lakh and Rs 8.88 lakh.
The market dynamics in South Africa are very similar to that of India, other than the fact that petrol is cheap and diesel vehicles are not much in demand. It is also one of the main reasons that many Indian manufacturers are exporting petrol sedans and even hatchbacks to SA with minor changes as per market requirements, to utilize facilities and curtail inventory pileup.
The Tata Manza’s gets features like the three barreled headlamps, 15-inch alloy wheels, 460 litres trunk capacity, driver information system, electrically adjustable ORVMs, music system with Bluetooth and USB in South Africa. The sedan is offered with three years warranty, with optional roadside assistance and four-year service plan.
The Tata Indigo Manza will be offered through 45 dealerships across South Africa.
