Tata has launched the Indigo Manza Club Class for a starting price of Rs 5.7 lakh for petrol and Rs 6.5 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the diesel variant. The Club Class is a mid-life face lift for the flagship sedan of the Indian auto major. It is expected to boost sales for the model which had taken a hit over the last few months.
The car is now available in five variants-LS, LX, VX, EX and EXL for both the petrol and diesel models. The Indigo Manza Club Class will be powered by a BS4 compliant 1.3-litre diesel engine generating 88bhp and 200Nm of torque and a 1.4-litre petrol mill generating 88bhp and 116Nm of torque.
The Indigo Manza Club Class, depending on the variant, will now get a touch screen audio system, automatic climate control, Italian leather or revised seat fabric, contrast roof colours, triple barrel headlamps, steering mounted controls and chrome detailing on the bumpers and doors.
The top-end EXL variant gets 15 inch eight-spoke alloy wheels replacing the black ones that were available on the top-end variants of the previous model. It also gets two airbags, EBD and steering mounted audio controls.
The new Indigo Manza Club Class will compete with the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Ford Fiesta Classic and the Toyota Etios and will most likely have an upper hand as it is being offered many features available on more expensive cars. Tata is also offering a special service programme for the owners of this car called the Club Class Engagement Programme.
