The Tata Indica Vista D90 has been discontinued by Tata Motors suggests a report from Cartoq. The Indian automaker’s diesel hot hatch has been in the market for just under a year but is believed to have not added much numbers to the Vista’s total sales figure. While the report suggest the discontinuation, it must be noted that Tata’s official website still has the car listed along with an official brochure and prices.
The Vista D90 is powered by the 1.3 MJD with a variable geometry turbo giving impressive ffigures of 89bhp and 204Nm of torque. Sporty touches on the car include larger bumpers and a massive rear spoiler. The Vista D90 is believed to be good to drive, but failed to post scorching figures on the performance table.
The discontinuation could be a definite possibility as the Vista facelift launch is just around the corner; we are expecting the Falcon 4 or the revised Indica Vista to be showcased at the Auto Expo 2014. The new Vista codenamed the Falcon 4 will be the part of the new range of cars that will carry the performance mantra ahead.
The Vista D90, however, isn’t that bad and if you have aspired to own one, it’s time to strike gold. If this is legitimate we are not sure about the amount of discount one can get on these cars before existing stocks are finished.
