On the eve of the festive season, Tata Motors has launched a new variant of their flagship SUV, the Hexa XM+, at a price tag of Rs 15.27 lakhs, ex-showroom Delhi. This new variant sits below the top-of-the-line XT trim and is based on the XM trim with some features of the XT carried over.
The XM+ gets the charcoal grey 16-inch alloy wheels along with front fog lamps making it look premium. On the inside, the XM+ will get soft-touch plastics on the dashboard and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. It continues the all-black interior with ambient lighting offered in eight colours.
It gets additional features as well with a reverse camera along with parking sensors added to the list. The new feature list also includes automatic headlamps, automatic climate control, cruise control and rain sensing wipers along with electrically foldable exterior mirrors. You can also get the Hexa customized with a sunroof with a two years warranty.
The Hexa will now be offered in 4 trims overall which include XE, XM, XM+ and XT. Powered by the 2.2-litre 154bhp turbodiesel, the Hexa is also offered with automatic transmission in the XM and XT trims and all-wheel drive.
The Hexa XM+ will compete with the likes of the Mahindra XUV500 W10 along with the premium compact SUVs like the Jeep Compass and the Hyundai Creta.
