Tata Motors has revised prices for the Hexa premium SUV in India. The base XE variant is now costlier by Rs 42,000 while the other trims get dearer by Rs 19,000. With the new revision in prices, the Hexa price list now starts at Rs 12.99 lakhs and goes up all the way to Rs 18.16 lakhs. The updated pricing makes the Hexa the most expensive product in the Tata Motors portfolio, thereby taking over the recently introduced Harrier which starts at Rs 12.69 lakhs and tops at 16.27 lakhs.
Under the hood, the Hexa is powered by a 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel engine in two power outputs. The base XE variant is mated to a five-speed unit that generates 148bhp and 320Nm of torque, while the other variants get the six-speed unit and automatic option that generate 154bhp and 400Nm of torque. The top spec XT variant is offered with an all-wheel-drive system.
