- Prices have been hiked by Rs 30,755 across variants.
- The Tata Harrier is now priced between Rs 12.69-16.56 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
Tata Motors has silently increased the prices of its flagship offering in India, the Tata Harrier. Prices have been hiked by Rs 30,755 across variants, and the mid-size SUV now starts at Rs 13 lakhs, unlike the introductory launch price of Rs 12.69 lakhs. The top-of-the-line XZ variant of the Harrier currently retails at Rs 16.56 lakhs (all the prices are ex-showroom Delhi).
Surprisingly, the Tata Harrier pricing isn’t uniform across the country, and cities like Chennai, Chandigarh, and Pondicherry have a slightly higher sticker price. Tata Motors hasn’t officially announced the price hike, but the new prices are listed on its website. The increase in prices of the Harrier could be due to an increase in manufacturing costs.
Tata Motors is set to introduce a BS-VI compliant variant of the Harrier, which was spotted testing recently alongside the Jeep Compass. With the BS-VI implementation, prices of the Harrier are likely to go up substantially. However, it would be applicable across the domestic market, and every manufacturer will have to bear the brunt.
Listed below are the variant-wise prices of the Tata Harrier (ex-showroom Delhi).
Tata Harrier XE - Rs 13 lakhs
Tata Harrier XM - Rs 14.06 lakhs
Tata Harrier XT - Rs 15.26 lakhs
Tata Harrier XZ - Rs 16.56 lakhs
