- The Harrier is currently available with five colour options.
- The Atlas Black paint will make the Tata’s Impact 2.0 design philosophy furthermore good looking.
After a long wait, Tata Motors launched the all-new Harrier in January with a surprise price tag. It was made available across four trims, one powertrain, and five colour options. Now, an authorised dealer price list has hinted at the addition of a new Atlas Black paint scheme which will be available with the ZM, XT, and XZ trims.
The entry-level XE trim can only be had in the Orcus White exterior paint, while the Calisto Copper, which was the flagship colour scheme is available only with the XT and XZ trims. The new Atlas Black paint will furthermore enhance the Harrier’s Impact 2.0 design philosophy and make it appear stealthier.
The Harrier is awaiting the introduction of a new automatic transmission. According to the rumours, it would be a six-speed unit sourced from Hyundai. Meanwhile, there are also reports of a 4x4 version, but it is not a priority for Tata at the moment.
Introduced in January, the Harrier found 422 takers in the first month. But in February the number grew to 1449 units. Which means that the Harrier has breached the Compass territory in terms of monthly sales numbers, devouring buyers from the likes of Nissan Kicks, Mahindra XUV500 and its own sibling, the Tata Hexa.
