As the global preview of the all-new Harrier nears, Tata Motors has released yet another teaser of the highly anticipated model. This time around, the brand has given us a peek into the cabin, specifically the dashboard layout of the Harrier.
Now that we have seen the dashboard layout, it is safe to say that the production model’s dash is similar to what we have seen in the concept. The dual-tone dash, in fact, will have an 8.8-inch display taking the centre stage. While the steering wheel is somewhat similar to existing Tata models, the instrument cluster with the highly detailed MID display is a first for Tata and seems rather interesting.
Earlier dubbed H5X, the Harrier is one of the most awaited cars in recent times. Underpinned by the new Omega platform derived from JLR, the styling is based on the IMPACT 2.0 design philosophy. The masculine stance of the Harrier will be combined with a feature-rich cabin. Under the hood there will be a 2-litre diesel engine. When it arrives in early 2019, we expect prices to be in the range of Rs 16 lakhs and Rs 20 lakhs. At these prices, it will compete with the likes of Jeep Compass and some D-segment sedans.
