- To be launched in India by March 2025
- Safari EV could arrive in tow
Tata Motors recently unveiled the Curvv coupe SUV siblings for the Indian market, and the carmaker is simultaneously working on its next offering. New spy shots give us yet another look at the Harrier EV that will arrive early next year.
While the Harrier EV test mule was fully draped in camouflage, it revealed the new design for the alloy wheels. This is the same design that was showcased on the Harrier EV during the 2023 Auto Expo. Elsewhere, the model retains the design elements from the facelifted Harrier that was launched late last year.
The new Tata Harrier EV will be one of the 10 EVs that the brand plans to have in its portfolio by 2025. We expect the Safari EV to be launched alongside the Harrier EV when it arrives by the end of the current financial year.
Tata Motors has not revealed the technical specifications of the electrified Harrier. That said, it is expected to debut in the production form with a large battery pack and an electric motor that is likely to return a claimed range of 600km on a single full charge. Also up for offer could be an AWD version with a dual motor setup under the skin.
