- The Harrier will get two dual-tone colour options - orange/black and silver/black.
- Tata Harrier will soon get a BS-VI compliant diesel motor along with an automatic transmission.
In a cryptic video teaser, the Tata Harrier dual-tone version has been teased in India. And if the teaser is anything to go by, the Harrier dual-tone variant is 'coming soon'. This news comes in the wake of the recent price hike that the Harrier received this month.
According to the teaser, the Tata Harrier dual-tone model will be available in two paint schemes - Calisto Copper with black roof and Orcus White with black roof. Besides the two new dual-tone paint schemes, the Harrier will continue to be offered with the existing five solid colour options. While the new variant is yet to officially go on sale in India, a few dealerships have been offering aftermarket dual-tone paint schemes at an additional cost.
The dual-tone paint scheme aside, Tata Harrier is also set to receive a BS-VI compliant engine. The updated 2.0-litre motor is expected to make 170bhp of maximum power, up from the existing 140bhp. It is also likely to get a Hyundai-sourced six-speed automatic transmission. Tata Motors is also working on a 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine for the Harrier. And early next year, the company will also launch a seven-seat variant of the Harrier, which debuted as the Tata Buzzard at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show in March.
