-Seven-seat version of the Harrier
-Expected to make use of same engine and underpinnings
-Set to debut at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show
A seven-seat version of the Tata Harrier has been spotted testing on Indian roads. This version is expected to have a different name and will most likely make its debut at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show.
As expected, it looks like the Harrier and will most likely have similar design elements but with added seating for two more people. In silhouette, you can see the Land Rover design elements like the roof profile and design of the alloy wheels. Inside, not much will change except for whatever is needed to accommodate the third row and its connected accessories. This list is expected to include USB and 12V charging points, vents for the third row as well possible re-positioning of the speakers for better sound.  Â
It is expected to get a slightly more powerful version of the 2.0-litre diesel motor found in the Harrier and will be offered with a six-speed manual as well as a six-speed automatic. Expect the H7X to be launched in India around the festival season with a Rs one lakh increase in price over the five-seat Harrier.
