Tata Motors will launch the much-awaited GenX Nano tomorrow. The car gets some cosmetic updates and comes with an openable boot lid.
The changes to the GenX Nano come in the form of newly styled front and rear bumpers, smoked headlamps, rear foglamps, slight changes to the cabin and a new AMT-equipped variant. The other changes include a 24-litre petrol tank in place of the earlier 15-litre one. The other features in the top-of-the-line variant continue like the power steering, air conditioner, central automated locking, heater and music system provides Bluetooth, AUX and USB connectivity.
The new Nano Twist Active is powered by the same 624cc twin-cylinder petrol motor that produces 38bhp of power and 51Nm of torque. The latest addition to the car is the AMT gearbox.
In all the present models of the Nano, the engine sits at the back and the boot is not openable. In the latest version, the boot has been redesigned for more usable space and added to the convenience with the help of the openable boot lid. The Nano GenX now comes with 110-litres of usable cargo space.
