Tata Motors has officially confirmed the launch date of the new Curvv coupe SUV for the Indian market. The carmaker will introduce the first car in this segment and it will be offered with EV and ICE powertrains. However, it remains unclear if the prices of both derivatives will be announced on the same day.
The recent set of teaser videos shared by Tata Motors has revealed key features of the Curvv siblings. On the outside, the model will feature LED DRLs reminiscent of the Nexon range, dual pod vertically stacked LED headlamps, fresh set of alloy wheels, flush-fitting door handles, sloping roofline, and wraparound inverted L-shaped LED taillights. The posterior is also likely to boast an LED light bar.
The interior of the Tata Curvv is expected to come equipped with a sunroof, paddle shifters, ventilated front seats, large touchscreen infotainment system, fully digital instrument cluster, ADAS suite, drive modes, and a two-spoke steering wheel.
Under the hood, Tata will plonk the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines paired with manual and automatic transmissions. The brand has not revealed the technical specifications of the EV version, although it could return a range of 500km on a single full charge.
