The Tata Curvv SUV Coupe is based on the new ATLAS platform. The car boasts a stylish front end with an LED DRL, a strong shoulder line with flared wheel arches, and flush-fitting door handles.
However, its USP is a sloping roof line that gives the car a distinct character. It blends into a short tail section that features a 3D LED light bar.
Inside, things are kept minimalistic with the Curvv's dashboard housing a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the centre. It supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as well.
The car gets a four-spoke multi-function steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo and a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster as seen in other Tata siblings.
The coupe SUV is also equipped with features like a gesture-controlled electric tailgate, six-way power adjustable driver seat, ventilated front seats, reclining rear seats, customisable mood lighting, nine-speaker JBL sound system, and a panoramic sunroof.
The Curvv gets Level 2 ADAS with over 20 safety features and driving aids. Other safety features include a 360-degree camera, six airbags, blind spot monitoring system, ESP, and an electronic parking brake with auto hold.
Powertrain options
The Tata Curvv will be offered with three engine options. There is an all-new 1.2-litre GDi Hyperion engine apart from the familiar 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines from the Nexon. The new direct-injection turbo-petrol unit produces 123bhp and 225Nm of torque. It will come mated to a six-speed manual and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. A seven-speed DCA will also be offered with the oil-burner, making it the only diesel model in the mass market to offer a dual-clutch automatic transmission.
