- EV and ICE to feature a similar dashboard layout
- To borrow features from the Harrier and Safari SUVs
Tata Motors has released yet another sketch and renders of the upcoming Curvv coupe SUV. This time, the sketches are of the interior and reveal the dashboard layout and features that the Curvv SUV is all set to debut with.
As seen in the design sketches, the interior of the Curvv will highly resemble to that of the Tata Safari and the Harrier SUV. It will feature a large 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment screen sitting above the central AC vents, touch-based HVAC panel, and a stubby gear selector lever with an electronic parking brake. Now, most of the things mentioned are exactly similar to those of the Safari SUV. Furthermore, it will borrow a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo and a digital driver’s display from the Nexon SUV.
Coming to the features, the Curvv will get plenty of tech including wireless smartphone connectivity, wireless charger, 360-degree surround camera, panoramic sunroof with mood lighting, and a Level 2 ADAS suite.
Now, while the EV version of the Curvv is scheduled to be launched on 7 August, the ICE iteration could make its presence felt in the Indian market in the following weeks. Upon its arrival, the Curvv will compete against the Hyundai Creta, Citroen Basalt, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate and other mid-size SUVs in the segment. Meanwhile, the EV version will go up against the Hyundai Creta EV, MG ZS EV, and the BYD Atto 3.
