The production version of the Tata Curvv is finally here and it’s looking rather promising. Although Tata Motors will announce the prices on 2 September, 2024, the brand has released every detail about the Curvv, including all the variants and features they get. In fact, the Curvv will be available in eight variants, namely Smart, Pure+, Pure+ S, Creative, Creative S, Creative+ S, Accomplished S, and Accomplished+ A. Let’s take a deep dive into the highlight features of these variants.
Tata Curvv Smart
The entry-level Smart variant can be had with one of the turbo-petrol engine options or a diesel unit. In terms of features, it gets LED headlights with daytime running lights, LED taillights, drive modes, 16-inch steel wheels, tilt adjustment for the steering wheel, manual AC, rear parking sensors, height adjustment for the driver’s seat, and steering controls for the instrument cluster. For safety, the Smart variant gets six airbags, three-point seatbelts for all passengers, ABS with EBD, and ESP.
Tata Curvv Pure+
Over the Smart variant, the Curvv Pure+ gets a seven-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, four-speaker sound system, electrically adjustable and folding wing mirrors, steering-mounted controls, paddle shifters for the automatic model, dual-tone wheel covers, and voice commands. In terms of engine options, the Pure+ variant can be had with one of the two turbo-petrol engine options (with both MT/AT options) and a diesel unit with both MT/AT options.
Tata Curvv Pure+ S
Over the Pure+ variant, the Curvv Pure+ S gets a full panoramic sunroof, auto wipers, auto headlights, and 17-inch steel wheels. Meanwhile, the engine and gearbox configurations remain the same as those of the Pure+ variant.
Tata Curvv Creative and Creative S
The Creative variant of the Curvv gets a bigger 10.25-inch Harman infotainment system with eight speakers, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, rear defogger, full LED headlights, cooled glove box, 17-inch alloy wheels, and climate control. Strangely enough, the diesel version of the Creative variant misses out on the seven-speed DCA option, which is available in both Pure+ and Pure+ S variants. The automatic option is available in Creative S variant, which is also the starting point for the new direct-injection 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine. The latter is available with a six-speed MT.
Tata Curvv Creative+ S
From this point onwards, Tata Motors has gone all out when it comes to high-end features. For instance, the Creative+ S variant gets 360-degree surround-view cameras with blind spot monitoring, 18-inch alloys with aero inserts, sequential turn indicators, connected LED taillights, themed dashboard with ambient lighting, TPMS, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, rear armrest with cup holders, and a dual-tone roof. The Creative+ S variant gets all the engine and gearbox configurations available with the Curvv.
Tata Curvv Accomplished S
The Accomplished S variant gets ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof with mood lighting, six-way powered driver seat, leatherette upholstery, nine-speaker JBL audio system, height adjustment for co-driver’s seat, rear seat with two-step recline function, wireless phone charging, and 60:40 split function for the rear seats. This variant also gets rear disc brakes and auto hold function for select powertrain configurations.
Tata Curvv Accomplished+ A
Finally, we come to the most expensive variant of the Curvv. The Accomplished+ A is truly fully loaded with standard features, including powered tailgate, LED lighting with welcome and goodbye animation, connected car tech, and an auto-dimming IRVM. It also gets Level 2 ADAS, which includes adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, automatic braking, high-beam assist, traffic sign recognition, rear cross-traffic alert, and many more functions.
