- Prices start at Rs. 10 lakh
- Bookings open; deliveries to start later this week
Last week, Tata Motors announced the prices of the Curvv coupe-SUV. Starting at Rs. 10 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant, Tata has now released images of this offering. Let us take a closer look.
On the outside, the Curvv Smart variant receives a split headlamp design, LED DRLs, blacked-out grille and ORVMs, flush-fitting door handles, and steel wheels without wheel covers. Additionally, it gets Curvv lettering on the front doors, LED taillights, and a sloping roofline. One significant design element that it misses out on is the LED light bars at the front and rear.
Inside, the entry-level offering in the Tata Curvv range features a dual-tone theme, two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, digital instrument console, drive modes, manual handbrake, conventional buttons for AC controls, six airbags, and A-pillar-mounted tweeters. Notable misses include a touchscreen infotainment system, ADAS suite, ventilated front seats, EPB, gesture-controlled tailgate, panoramic sunroof, auto-dimming IRVM, and a 360-degree camera.
Under the hood, the base variant of the Curvv is offered with 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines paired only with a six-speed manual transmission. The petrol engine produces 118bhp and 170Nm, while the diesel motor develops 116bhp and 260Nm. Tata Motors has commenced bookings of the Curvv ICE, with deliveries set to begin on 12 September, 2024.
