The overall design of the production version remains identical to the concept car. The USP is a stylish coupe-like roofline with an upright rear fascia with a continuous LED taillight.
Its fascia has a design language similar to other Tata siblings like the Safari, Harrier, and Nexon. It features a bold front end with a split headlamp setup and a wide DRL.
The car has a good road presence with a high hood and 190mm of ground clearance. The coupe SUV rides on 18-inch wheels with aero inserts and has a wading depth of 450mm.
Inside the Curvv.ev, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system takes centre stage with most controls incorporated in it. It is paired with a nine-speaker JBL sound system.
The car boasts a four-spoke multi-function steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo and a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster also showing Google map navigation.
Other equipment includes a six-way power adjustable driver seat, ventilated front seats, reclining rear seats, panoramic sunroof, and a gesture-controlled electric tailgate.
The Curvv.ev gets a 360-degree camera, six airbags, electronic parking brake with auto hold, ESP, and Level 2 ADAS with over 20 safety features and driving aids.
Powertrain
The Tata Curvv.ev uses a single 123kW electric motor powered by either a 45kWh or 55kWh battery pack, offering a range of 502km and 585km (ARAI certified), respectively. Tata claims that the Curvv.ev can do the 0-100kmph sprint in 8.6 seconds and has a top speed of 160kmph.
Thanks to a charging rate of 1.2C, the batteries can be recharged from 10-80 per cent in 40 minutes using a 70kW charger. Moreover, a quick 15-minute charge can give 150km of range. Besides, the coupe SUV supports Vehicle to Load (V2L) and Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) charging at up to 3.3kVA and 5kVA respectively.
