The Tata Bolt hatchback and sedan (Zest for India) have been launched in South Africa. Manufactured in Pune, India, the Bolt range is underpinned by the Horizon Next philosophy and has a new design language and offers a comfortable and a responsive driving experience.
The Bolt hatchback has been priced at R132 995 (Rs 6.45 lakh) while the Bolt sedan has a starting retail price of R142 995 (Rs 6.93 lakh). The vehicles will be available for sale, across the country in 43 Accordian dealerships as of today.
The range is being offered in two variants-XMS and XT and five colour options. It will be offered only with the 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine that produces 88bhp and 140Nm of torque with power going to the front wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox. Standard features on the top-spec variant include the three drive modes, climate control as well as the Harman touchscreen infotainment system.
