Tata Motors is all set to introduce the performance-oriented version of its premium hatchback. To be called the Altroz Racer, the model will be launched in India later this month. Ahead of its price reveal, the automaker has officially commenced bookings of this Hyundai i20 N Line-rival.
As seen in the teaser video, the new Tata Altroz Racer will get a dual-tone paint theme where the top section will get a black finish while the lower section an orange finish. The latter is one of the three options that will be available at launch, and details of the same are live on our website. The bonnet also gets a black finish along with dual white stripes that extend to the roof.
The interior of the 2024 Altroz Racer, as per the video, will get an electric sunroof, all-black interior theme, digital instrument console, orange inserts and ambient lighting, automatic climate control, orange stitching, new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and an air purifier.
Under the hood, the Hyundai i20 N Line-rival will be powered by a 1.2-litre, Revortron turbo-petrol engine paired only with a six-speed manual gearbox. This motor is tuned to belt out 118bhp and 170Nm of torque.
