The European-spec Suzuki Vitara has been in the market for a while and so far, it’s received multiple updates. Now it seems Suzuki is working on yet another mild makeover which will be carried over the crossover, soon.
Our spies have managed to capture a camouflaged prototype on test with disguised front and rear ends. As far as design changes are taken in to account, revisions are limited to the front but it’s pretty likely the rear and the interior, too, will be refreshed.
Mechanically, we do not expect any changes over the current model meaning the Vitara will continue to feature frugal petrol and diesel motors. Like the current car, this new Vitara will also get Suzuki’s Allgrip all-wheel drive system in some variants.
This model sold in Europe is not related to the Vitara Brezza that Maruti Suzuki sells here in India. The Brezza, in fact, is doing well despite being available only with a diesel motor. That said, it is likely to face some tough competition in the coming months with the impending launch of the Tata Nexon.
