Suzuki Motors in Indonesia has revealed that the new Suzuki Vitara will be launched at the Singapore Motor Show 2016 that starts from the 14th of January.
With SUVs being the flavour of the season worldwide, the Japanese giant is confident that their single contender in the Sports Utility Vehicle segment, the Vitara, will do well. Suzuki has constantly updated and improved the Vitara since its initial launch in 1988. A quick look at the latest Vitara’s specs confirm that it is powered by an impressive four-cylinder 1.6-litre engine that is offered in both petrol and diesel versions. Petrol muscle will be delivered through the choice of an automatic or manual transmission and the diesel version will be equipped with a manual gearbox. Customers may be able to book their new Vitara at the Motor Show and deliveries are expected to begin by mid-2016.
Maruti has not revealed any plans to bring this car to our market and is currently gearing up to showcase their compact SUV, the Vitara Brezza, at the Auto Expo 2016.
